Van Halen/David Lee Roth Update

Another one for the men! The Official David Lee Roth site has launched
the second "Miss Slawterhouse" competition. Viewers are encouraged to
check out all the entries and vote for your favourite. The winner
will receive "all excess" passes to a live DLR performance, along with
"autographed stuff" and a finger salute Slawterhouse t-shirt.
David Lee Roth's song Ashley Abernathy is now available for

web site. It is featured on the compilation album Song of Love Volume 2.

Van Halen's Jump came in at #119 in the top 365 songs of the
20th century. The list was compiled by the Recording Industry of America
and the National Endowment for the Arts. The top 5 songs were: 1. "Over
The Rainbow" - Judy Garland, 2. "White Christmas" - Bing Crosby, 3.
"This Land Is Your Land" - Woody Guthrie, 4. "Respect" - Aretha Franklin
and 5. "American Pie" - Don McLean.

2000 has come and gone, and I don't have to tell you that it was probably
the most frustrating year ever in the life of Van Halen fans. "No news is
good news" got old real fast.
