After making a promising debut at #18 on the Billboard album chart
6 weeks ago, Sammy Hagar's Marching To Mars this week made a quick
exit from the Billboard
Top 100. The album was at #97 on the chart last week, this week it is sitting
at #126.

Van Halen will be the featured artist on the Bolivian radio show
El Baśl in an upcoming broadcast on the FM 101.5 station based
in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. A television special is also

Dave Tour?

Speculation is rife that David Lee Roth is forming a new band to tour behind
his upcoming Greatest Hits album. I've heard at least one Van Halen tribute
band guitarist has been asked to submit a tape of original material to
Dave's office.
BOV1 Still Selling Well

Van Halen's Best Of, Volume One has just topped 3.5 million
sales worldwide. So much for the much publicised Internet "boycott"....

Slawterhouse is claiming that BOV1
has only sold 1.75 million copies. This is untrue. US sales of the album are
currently at 1.98 million. Worldwide, the album has sold 3.5 million copies.
