After years of waiting, I was finally able to see the KING!!! I heard all the legendary stories of Dave and his unbelieveable showmanship, now I finally saw him. One word..... WOW!!! I was totally blown away. He sounded awesome, hitting every note, every line.

He did not disappoint the sold out crowd that was at the Trump Marina. He had everyone eating out of his hand last night. From the opening drum solo of "Hot For Teacher" to the last note of "Jump", Dave put on one hell of a show!!!

The backup band was incredible!!! Bart Walsh is the guitar phenom. For someone who was not able to see the mighty Van Halen with Diamond Dave, this was the next best thing.

Double D seemed to draw every emotion out of the crowd. There was not one single person sitting the entire show. There was even a huge, fat guy who took his shirt off and started running around. It was truely the best concert I have ever been to.

EVH, AVH, & MA, put aside your differences and start making some real music, because there is not substance to the crap that is out there today. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is right around the corner, it would be nice to see the real VH standing up there.

If Diamond Dave ever comes to your town, don't pass up the opportunity to go and see him. Dave is and will always will be the greatest Rock and Roller EVER!!!

Dave rocked the Jersey shore, like it hadn't been rocked in years. He did the same set list as his show in Virginia on 9/18. From the opening of Hot for Teacher, thru til the end, Dave was PT Barnum, putting on the greatest rock-n-roll show on earth! He played to every lady in the ballroom, and is the King of the one liners. Someone in the crowd yelled Van Halen Sucks, Daves reply was "they don't suck, Cherone sucks!" Crowd went nuts, and Dave showed he is the bigger man.

After watching the show, it's a given that they will never reunite, Dave is too much showman, and Ed's ego will never let him take a back seat to Dave! If anyone loves classic Van Halen, I suggest taking in Dave if you can!

I caught Diamond Dave in concert in Atlantic City last Friday and what a show! I had seen DLR a few times solo on his last tours, but nothing compares to the show he's been putting on lately. He performed all old classic Van Halen songs with the exception of Yankee Rose and Tobacco Road which I also loved. He looked and sounded like the Roth of the '70's. He was great. He definitely hasn't lost it. He is a great entertainer.

I never got the chance to see Diamond Dave perform with Van Halen, and I think this was probably the closest I have gotten. It would be awesome if the band got back together for say a reunion tour. There are so many fans out there just waiting for it to happen. The highlights for me were hearing Little Dreamer, So This Is Love? (My favorite VH song which I had never heard live before), Ice Cream Man and (Oh) Pretty Woman. Atomic Punk was also great. Dave has a great sounding band backing him up.

There is no concert more exciting to attend then that of David Lee Roth. The second most exciting for me is seeing Van Halen. Now if we could just get those two together again....What a show that would be!!!

Thanks Dave!

I saw Diamond Dave last night at the Trump Marina casino in Atlantic City. First off I've read all the reviews about his voice and I must say it sounded good. Much better than on the last DLR album. The band was good but let's face it there's only one Eddie Van Halen. You can copy him but something is always missing.

Dave came out in a silver suit and played every song from the set lists that have been shown on these pages. He was enthusiastic and flirted with the ladies as usual, even pulling one on stage to have some fun with.

Overall it was a good show and a lot of fun. On a side note, Sebastian Bach of Skid Row fame was hanging out and enjoying the show. Rumors said he was going to sing with Dave but that's all they were.

I saw Dave at Trump Marina in Atlantic City and thought he did a great job. The guy had a lot of energy on stage and sang well. He doesn't have the voice he used to but I felt the song selection was appropriate. Dave does a lot of talking in between songs which turns some people off. I personally was entertained by what he was saying because he's such a nut. I was also suprised to see he can still do some of his karate-style jumps and his twirling of a martial arts staff. I think people in the front of the audience were taking cover in case he accidently let it fly into the crowd!

Overall, I was pleased and felt a VH reunion based on Daves performance that night could have been unforgettable.
