Well..here goes. I have seen DLR in concert 5 times with VH and 3 times solo (including tonights show). I have seen VH with Sammy 3 times and w/Gary once also. My opinion is simple...Why cant we all just get along!

It took me a long time to get over the original breakup of VH. But now after seeing VH do some old tunes on the last tour and DLR doing all the old tunes tonight, one thing is for sure. I'm having withdrawls again.... The old band has to get back together and do a reunion tour for the sake of the fans. Everyone was rocking and smiling and you could just feel the excitement of hearing the old tunes being belted out by Dave. It made my fur stand!

DLR was awesome. I know what his voice has sounded like in concert over the years. I know that he would partially sing many songs too (including the sloppy performance at the US Festival in 83 that I went to). In comparison to those shows, tonight he was a step above. He played the same set list posted previously but he sang every song almost word for word (except for one song that he used the standard I forgot the fucking words line - although I almost believe him tonight the way he was shaking his head to the other guys in the band after saying that!)

Maybe having 5 days off between shows helped his vocal chords because he sounded excellent. He moved pretty well for a guy in his mid 40's too. And of course we has entertaining to watch at all times.

The rest of the band did a commendable job of playing the songs note for note but nothing replaces the VH Brothers and Michael Anthony in terms of musicianship. My suggestion is if you love old VH, go to the show and enjoy. It is probably the closest thing you will ever get to the old 77-85 era. I know the VH Brothers don't want to re-live the past but if they saw how happy everyone was tonight watching Dave perform and all the great memories he brought back for us old VH fans, they should consider at least putting personal feelings aside for a year and tour the world one last time, for the sake of the loyal legion of fans who have stuck with them through DLR, Sammy and now Gary.

I mean c'mon, its only rock and roll, not marriage guys...Can't we all just get along...at least for one tour! Anyway thanks Dave for the great show, its was great to see you where you belong..on stage as one of rocks greatest showmen and frontmen of all-time!

Bright Lights. Ear aching Rock-n-Roll. David Lee Roth.

I was never able to see VH with DLR. I closed my eyes last night and got as close as I ever did. The show rocked the Mile High city to it's foundation!!

"Look at all the people here tonight!!"

He has found some really talented musicians to back him on this leg of his career. These guys ROCK! I could have left after DLR's set. No, not really. To most of us at the Fiddlers Green Ampitheatre, it was a double billing. DLR and Bad Company shared the headline in our eyes. It was just an amazing set.

He is and will be forever the voice of Van Halen to me. The others will come and go, and of course VH will continue to rock our world, but DLR is THE MAN!!

Keep it going Dave!!

I also was at the David Lee Roth show last night. Dave and the classic VH songs have never sounded better. He breathes energy into those songs like no one else can. In part because they are his songs. I agree with the previous reviewer, the place was going crazy for Dave and if you closed you eyes, you could almost imagine what it would be like to be watching the real Van Halen together again.

I have seen all 3 incarnations of VH and although it was good to see the band play the classics last year that Sammy so long avoided; last night almost made me sad. Sad that because of egos or whatever it is keeping them apart, Eddie, Alex, Mike and Dave; will not give real Van Halen fans what they want. That is to end the 15 year suffering and put THE BAND back on stage where it belongs. David Lee Roth sounded as good as I have ever heard him sing last night. It was awesome. Thanks for the memories Dave.

WoW! What a great time. Dave and his band rocked Denver last night! I started the night by meeting fellow DLRML lister Scott Harmon and his friends Dave and Dan for drinks before the show. After pounding down a few beers we proceeded on to Fiddlers Green to watch the show.

The first tune that the band played was Hot For Teacher. As soon as Dave appeared on the stage..everyone jumped out of their seats and from then on the crowd went nuts. Anyone who has said that DLR has lost a step hasn't seen him on tour. His voice was excellent (better than the boots I have heard from the tour) and he looked buffed and in the best shape I have seen in years. Whoo...the spinning heel kicks and jumps off of the drum riser were outstanding. His vocal range was decent and he was working the crowd.

He said all of the Rothisms that he has patented on this tour and over the years like "Look at all the people here tonight", "You are so sweet you shit sugar" and others. He did the Jack Daniels gyration into the front row seats, but stayed away from the Sammy Hagar remarks during "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love".

He played for about 50 mins but the crowd was so into it that he could have played for a couple of more hours. When it came time for the encore the band left, but Dave stayed on the stage by himself. Dave started playing Air Guitar and acting like he was playing Drums while motioning to the crowd as if "Hey do you want to hear some more?" It was really funny...then Dave motioned the band onstage for the final song, Jump.

The band was awesome! I couldn't imagine Dave hiring a better crew. Guitars: Todd Jensen and Bart Walsh did an excellent job. Bart played Eruption to a tee, and sounded great. Todd Jensen seemed to be really into the concert. The background vocals were amazing. Drums: Ray Luzier is THE best Drummer Alive. He pounded the skins like an obsessed maniac harder than anyone I have ever seen in concert. Ray broke enough drumsticks to kill a entire forest. I was afraid backstage was going to set fire with all the broken wood back there.

Bad Points: . Too Short. Dave needs to headline in order to get more time. He could have played for 3 hours and I would have still bitched about this though. After the encore Dave stayed on the stage for a while just absorbing all the cheers that came his way.

After the show Scott, Dan, Dave, and I headed backstage. We got a chance to meet Todd Jensen and Big Ed..but not Dave. Ed was hilarious and was clowning around with everyone. Scott's friend Dave met this chick backstage that let him sign her chest, and leg. He then dropped his drawers and let her sign his ass. He spent the rest of the night cracking me up, trying to get different women to sign his ass. I had a great time, and can't wait till the next tour. Dave really needs to stay on tour, he is gaining major momentum.
