At 40 plus David Lee Roth still has what it takes to get a packed arena to stand at attention. It's true his voice is not what it once was, yet still holds the power and the range. Not a single soul sat as he belted out tunes such as So This Is Love, Runnin' With The Devil, and Unchained.

It is obvious his love for the sport of Rock-N-Roll still thrives. His theory of Band, Lights, and Sound remain true to form. No lasers, no big screen's just kick your butt Rock-N-Roll!

Bart Walsh is an amazing talent on guitar playing the old Halen tunes note for note. This kid has a future.

David Lee Roth was, is, and will always be Rock-N-Roll's number one front man. Give 'em hell Dave..

Seeing DLR on stage again is what we all (Roth fans) have been dying for, well my friends the comeback is complete. Dave had the crowd in his hand from the moment he walked out on stage. Dave was in a metallic retro botton down shit, with tight gray flair leg pants.

His sound, and screams were exactly what you hear on the "DLR BAND" RELEASE (YOU KNOW THOSE LITTLE TEXAS/KING OF THE HILL SCREAMS) NOT VH ONE SCREAMS but very intense and his performance was great.

The DLR Band was"good" but VAN HALEN is much more than good. Dave kept a crowd of which grew to 5,000 plus on the feet screaming the entire 1hr 10 minute show!! I would honestly say a least a third of the people there were in DLR TOUR TEES, or old VAN's tour shirts. There were all the women dressed to kill showing Dave there breasts.

This show brought to mind what VAN HALEN was before VH ONE, a VERY UPCLOSE, and LOUD experience, no stage props like the old solo shows. It wasn't an old Van Halen show but damn it, that's not his fault!!!

I drove 2 hours from Cincinnati OH to see Dave, and I can say it was well worth the journey. BAD COMPANY on stage actually in front of people is NOT a good thing!! The crowd had grown by 25% or more by the time Bad Company took stage, but the Dave's crowd was 4 times louder!!!! ROTH-N-ROLL IS FOREVER!

First, I'd like to say that I am a Red Rocker Die Hard. I will have to commend Dave for not bashing Sammy in Indy. I was very prepared to boo him and flip him off. I went to see the original Bad Company with Paul Rodgers and to critique Dave.

The set list is exactly the same as the night before that is already posted from St. Louis. I missed Hot for Teacher because I arrived late, but caught the last part of Panama. The best song of the entire evening was without a doubt, "Dance the Night Away", a close second "Running With the Devil".

On a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being the best, and 1 being the worst, I would rate this show a 5. Bad Company was a 10, Paul Rodgers was without a doubt incredible, and I highly recommend anyone checking this tour out, just for the priveledge of seeing Rodgers & the original Bad Company.

Back to Dave, I am not sure what his deal is, the show didn't suck. But, it was not anything close to his days with VH. It was as if I was seeing a VH tribute band. I mean Jesus Christ, Sammy might play 4 or 5 VH songs out of a 20 to 25 set. Why can't Dave stand alone on his own material? Answer, he doesn't have enough quality solo material for an entire show that gives him strong enough legs to stand on, unlike Sammy.

In my opinion, VH is dead and gone with Cherone, and Dave is washed up. Some might say Sammy isn't pulling them in anymore, but at least he still puts out quality stuff. Red Voodoo rocks. VHIII's CD sucked, and Dave's new stuff, he doesn't even play it on tour.

Lets all pray, that Eddie and the boys give Dave one more shot, for Dave's sake, or my personal fantasy pray that Eddie, Alex, Mike, and Sammy can patch things up and put the my favorite all-time band back together.

In a nutshell, Dave to me just doesn't have it anymore, he came across to me as just some strange sob wearing back dated spandex stretch pants, living in the past. Sammy is on tour right now, and I just saw him in Cabo this past April right before the official start of the tour. A live show by Sammy is a fun party, with Dave it is yawn yawn yawn.

Sorry my review is a bit late, but I just got back from vacation. DLR was in amazing shape, and so were his martial arts. Dave was the show, he needed no other stage props. It was a barebones kickass hard rock show. The atomic punk is truely the "KICK ASS" in what was Van Halen.

From the moment he walked on stage those that were there to see him went nuts, and the Bad Company crowd was stunned. In the middle of the set there were these three younger chics making out and showing Dave their breast. So he walks over, and jerks off half a bottle of Jack all over them, the crowd at that point was floored.

DLR had the crowd singing the supporting vocals for him, and we did a better job than the band. It was a little rough around the edges, but that's why in the end the whole crowd was in love with an old flame all over agian.

DAVID LEE ROTH is the headliner. I don't care how many old 70's bands play after him!!!! Old as in my dad old! The crowd went totally wild when he did Unchained, and came back out for Jump. They booed loudly when the lights came on.....DAIMOND DAVE YEAH BABY!!!
