OK...here we go...let me first say that I am a life long Van Halen and David Lee Roth fan...After this show I understand why Alex and Eddie will NEVER play with Roth again. Mr. Roth was as crazy as ever....touching his balls every five minutes....making constant sexual comments to the females in the audience....even doing some of his 'trademark' kicks.

Besides the kicks...he hardly moved at all....he just stood there and smiled like some drunken moron...in addition, the stage moves and vocal range of 'the early roth' is GONE. I must admit the backing band was HOT....without that band he would have SUCKED! It would be nice to see him at least try to sing again.....this was just smoke and mirrors.

Wow, what a night to remember. Just saw the guys in the same club "House of Blues" in October, and to tell ya about it, they didn't lose a thing. The 10/02 show kicked, but this one kicked ass. Dave has definitely got the crowd back in his arena. I believe the shows, in the next tour, are gonna wake up some sleeping shitheads. This band he's assembled, (and we all know he's had some greats), is A-1 , and ready.

The sound was tight, recording live for a surprise we hope? And the crowd was rockin' the place good. You know, how can ya not love Dave? He's been through hell and back with critics, media, and to say the least, old friends, and always seems to rise above and produce great tunes. As a fan, I hope he never looks back, because his talents are far better without the Halens' ego problems, can't wait to hear the next release, and see the shows in the future. Keep on rockin', and let's enjoy some more Dave!!!!!!!! Thanks for all the great memories, Dave.

Well, I was very disappointed in Daves concert in Las Vegas. He was very drunk, his voice sounded like shit, and all he wanted to do was play with himself, as if he had something there....Eddie Van Halen's move to get rid of him was the best thing for Van Halen. Please Ed, don't even think about re-uniting with him...it will bring the band down to a new low....Maybe if Dave stops drinking, he could be the front man, but his antics suck.. I would never see him again.

HOUSE OF BLUES, LAS VEGAS IN THE MANDALAY BAY CASINO. What a great venue.

This was my second show of the tour. Check out my other review in San Diego. Sold out, much better this time, Bart seemed more polished, Dave sang better. Except, they did not play Unchained.

My wife and I thought we would give Dave another chance to out do the Atomic Punks. We're both big VH fans for 20 years, I've been playing guitar for 17 years, so here's my review.

Scores are from 1 to 10. A perfect 10 are the albums.

               DLR Band Atomic Punks

Vocals 7.0 9.9
Guitars 7.9 8.0
Drums 7.0 9.9
Bass 7.5 8.5
Backup vocals 8.0 6.0

Dave is more physical and does more dialogs, the singer for Atomic Punks is more interactive with the audience. Both just as entertaining.
