I just returned from Japan today. I had a great week sightseeing, eating great food seeing temples etc.. However, I did miss Van Halen here in Hawaii on the 14th, but I got to see them in Hiroshoma instead. What a great show!
I've seen them here every show since 89' and this was the best show ever! Great sound great lights and great set list. Same as the Hawaii set list. Gary rocked. Alex rocked. Mike rocked. Edward was at the top of his game. Aggressive, happy, soulful. Some fan did ruin the moment during a quite part by yelling "Sammy". Gary heard it but kept on rocking.

Van Halen Fans,
I have had the pleasure of seeing Van Halen on several occasions. Both with
David Lee Roth and with Sammy Hagar. I must admit that Gary has a first
rate voice, however, his stage theatrics somehow just don't fit the band's
image. Actually (...and I am honestly not homophobic), Gary appears to be a
bit on the feminine side. Does anybody else get that impression?
His appearance and mannersims are quite a contrast to Michael Anthony's
"Jack Daniels" bass guitar, or Eddie's savage guitar licks.
Why does Gary refer to Eddie as "Edward" on stage, and continually touch his ass? See what I mean? Other than that, it was a great concert. Did Alex have on a neck brace? Hopefully it wasn't anything Gary did to him! Thanks too for playing in the basketball gymnasium, see you next time at Van Halen 4! Feel free to send me info....
