Set List

Review by Tommy Johansson - tommyjhnssn@hotmail.com

Awesome!!!! The setlist was short but I think all of us there got more than we had expected! Eddie was jumping around like crazy but Gary, well, he was all over the place! The stage was way to small for him so he started to walk ON the audience!!! The songs were performed great and I didn't miss Dave or Sammy for a second. The crowd was quite calm for a long time but it gradually changed and during the two encores, "Jump" and "Panama", the whole place was going wild.

Some highpoints were:
Mike & Eddie stealing some lines from Gary on "Why Can't This Be Love". Mike singing lead! Singing the line "....And I'm speedin', down that line...." the way he did was amazing to hear! Alex!!! Everyone wore HUGE smiles during the drum solo! The man would steal the show in any other band but he gets tough competition from Eddie! Everyone stood like paralysed with their mouths open during his guitar solo! It was hard to hear Garys vocals at first but it got better during the show and he sang "Panama" with a lot of feeling and a great voice!

There were no lowpoints...

For me it was the first show I have ever seen, so I can´t make a difference between the old vocalists. I think Gary fits good with Alex, Michael and Eddie. He "jumps" over the stage like a crazy fool and creates big parts of the atmosphere. Although the audience was little bit like boring, nevertheless he makes party and tries to motivate the audience. At the end of the show there was a amazing mood.

The most brilliant part of the show was, as usual, Eddie. He knows how to play guitar (!). The setlist was great and contains old songs from the David Lee Roth time. They performed a good mix of their songs, but forget sometimes the "III" - album. In the whole I enjoyed it very much and it was a fantastic experience for me and my friends. I can only say that everyone HAS TO SEE the show, if he has the possibility.
