Metal Edge Online Editor Gerri Miller was lucky enough to talk to Michael
Anthony at the NAMM convention in Anaheim last month. The video interview

Some selected Mike quotes from the interview...
Mike: "We're getting ready to make some official announcements..."
When asked how soon will the announcement be:
Mike: "As far as I'm concerned it's not soon enough."
When asked how soon the tour will be:
Mike: "I don't know if this summer is... (pauses)... Probably
more like the fall, I imagine."
Mike: "We are working on new material" (Mike starts to grin - see right)
Gerri Miller: "If I was to conjecture that Dave might be back in the band..."
Mike: "Here we go... Gerri, you know I can't answer that!"
Gerri Miller: "I know, I have to ask you, Michael!"
Mike: "OK, well you asked me. We are working on new material in the studio."
Mike: "Early this year we'll be letting people know what's going on... Don't forget us! We're still here!"

Dec 31, 2000 - 2000: The Year In Review
2000 has come and gone, and I don't have to tell you that it was probably
the most frustrating year ever in the life of Van Halen fans. "No news is
good news" got old real fast.
