New York Daily News: Van Halen Gets (Old) Act Together
February 26, 2001 -
The "Rush & Molloy" column in Sunday's New York Daily News led with
the headline: Van Halen Gets (Old) Act Together. The article
claimed that the "16 year old feud" between David Lee Roth and
Eddie Van Halen may have come to an end, thanks to the healing
power of money.
According to unnamed "insiders" quoted by the article:
"David has been recording in the studio for the past two weeks.
They have five tracks recorded and are looking to tour in summer of 2002."
The credibility of the article was damaged when the author
claimed:
"Eddie, now 46, reached out to David, now 45."
All Van Halen fans know that Dave was born on October 10, 1954
and Eddie was born on January 26, 1955, making both men 46
years old.

Dec 31, 2000 - 2000: The Year In Review
2000 has come and gone, and I don't have to tell you that it was probably
the most frustrating year ever in the life of Van Halen fans. "No news is
good news" got old real fast.
