David Lee Roth Sighting
January 26, 2001 -
David Lee Roth was spotted this evening in Ybor City, Florida by an
observant couple of Van Halen fans. He was reportedly wearing a
baseball cap and bomber jacket. Our Dave spotters, Wayne and Sandy, tell me that there
were plenty of celebrities in the area, obviously in
town for the Super Bowl.
Dave was apparently very approachable, and answered some important
questions. When asked if he was recording with Van Halen, Dave
replied "yes". When questioned if they (meaning the
original lineup) were back together, Dave smiled very widely and
said "we shall see".
Although looking inconspicuous, Wayne and Sandy said his hair
was the giveaway. They said he looked "good...young".
Here's hoping Dave leaks some more details at the Super Bowl party
on Sunday!
