Wolfgang Van Halen’s first two shows playing bass for Mark Tremonti’s road band went great, despite Wolf having such short notice. Wolf is currently taking over bass duties while Eddie Van Halen is recovering from emergency surgery. After the first gig Tuesday, Wolf tweeted, “Well the show with my buds @MarkTremonti @IIEROCKII and @GWDrums was a blast! Thanks so much to everyone that showed up! NYC, here we come!” Tremontio tweeted, “Thanks for such an incredible first show Rhode Island! We won’t ever forget it….”
