    I don’t know if Ed is/was noodling around the studio for several months trying to get one solo. One of Sammy’s last jabs at VH would have you believe that, but you have to take everything Sammy and Ed say towards each other with a grain of salt. What is it with Sammy the last 10 years? Seems like ever since the brothers said he had no work ethic, the guy is driven to do as much stuff as possible.

    Great mix…..but it really illustrates how Van Hagar was a corporate band with no heart…..and reaffirms that Roth Halen was pure genius.

    scissors,i agree the roth era is pure genius.But to say the hagar era has no heart,that’s a very ignorant,narrow minded thing to say.

    But this mix is awesome—What a shame we can’t go back to the early 80′s and just stay there. Growing up with Eddie is a lifetime of high’s and low’s. Literally

    booger man, I think it is Roth yelling “somebody get me a doctor”, but there have been some effects added to the voice for extra flavor on this one.

    Ed: – Well, hey guess what! I have a studio out my backyard! Lots of people starving in the world, but sheesh, apparently I’m a musician – I’ve a studio here and its gathering dust. I suppose we COULD use it..Anyway, I’ve a couple of noodles here…

    These remixes are cool, but in a way it reminds me that VH “used to be, but aren’t any more.”

    I think it’s awesome that Dave is coming out with something new. I bet all you Dave-haters are shocked to see him end up as the “working artist” who in 2010 in is actually working on something new. Remember all those Ed quotes that basically said “Dave was an entertainer, but we’re the artists/musicians”?

    Way to go Dave! I’ll be first in line to buy it, sight unseen!

    These have been a nice distraction…thanx for the effort. You may wanna watch the distortion on the final mix though. Sounds much rougher (sloppier) than the last ones.
