One thing I love about Van Halen is that with every album they made throughout their career they were always doing something creative and new. I appreciate the variance in style and sound in the VH catalog. As a younger VH fan I look back at the music and appreciate all of it. Even VH3 had a lot to offer, Ed's playing is so unique and awesome on that record. They dropped their creativity and are purely a nostalgic band, now. It would be cool to see them make another great album with a new sound, but I think they're to old for that. Oh, well. I'll just have to find some old bootlegs!
