I love how this is the setlist for Guitar Hero:Van Halen. And probably the only songs we will ever hear the mighty VH do again…

I think I’d be right in saying that most VH fans would love to see some FUCK songs on here…or maybe the tab to “Fire In The Hole” with Ed explaining how to pitch change without buying a Steinberger or a Trans-Trem…

that would be cool “hear about it later” in the 2010 set list..

Amazing how Ed and Al are willing to act as though they never created any of the Hagar era music. Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face (or is it to spite your former bandmates? – either way it’s stupid). And it’s too bad because there was some stellar guitar work there that would be cool to have included in things like this and Guitar Hero.

These are the songs from the Guitar Hero Van Halen game. It makes sense that they’d release this collection now.

Some of Ed’s greatest guitar work ever is on 5150, “Summer Nights”, the constant change in tones and inticate riffs – beautiful.

One thing I love about Van Halen is that with every album they made throughout their career they were always doing something creative and new. I appreciate the variance in style and sound in the VH catalog. As a younger VH fan I look back at the music and appreciate all of it. Even VH3 had a lot to offer, Ed’s playing is so unique and awesome on that record. They dropped their creativity and are purely a nostalgic band, now. It would be cool to see them make another great album with a new sound, but I think they’re to old for that. Oh, well. I’ll just have to find some old bootlegs!

It is great that they are taking spammy’s advice and acting like a certain lead singer never existed within the band.Bet it torques sammy off pretty good!!

Sammy could care less. That guy is on top of the world…must have done over 30 gigs this year..wheres VH..releasing a bunch of tabs you can get on the net for freee….hahah…i bet that torques EVH off even more…lol
