New promotion: Each member of CF to appear on cereal boxes for Wheat Chex, Rice Chex and Corn Chex…
EVH to promote his own oat-based cereal shaped like his franken-strat; It comes in a red, white and black striped box; It’s called “Little Guitars breakfast cereal”!
Comes with a cut-out 33 1/3 rpm record on back of box- but it’s an old tune, not a new one…

Chris I love you man. I think I fell out of my chair laughing at your post. Good times man, good times. LMFAO!!!
November 22nd, 2009 at 1:10 pm
I actually think I’m going to get one of each, I’m totally geeked for Chickenfoot, and I love Mikey!!! They are a great example of how some bands love their fans and their fans love them. Thanks Sammy and Mike!!! We love you!!!
November 22nd, 2009 at 1:44 pm
wow mikey milk it…
November 22nd, 2009 at 1:59 pm
those are very cool. they also have a mini Jack Daniels bass…
November 22nd, 2009 at 2:08 pm
eddie sells real guitars
November 22nd, 2009 at 3:20 pm
I would love a mini Frankenstein replica. I just can’t justify $25k for the real thing!
November 22nd, 2009 at 4:51 pm
I just hope that Eddie and Dave put forth as much effort as Chickenfoot does. Man they are really giving us fans what we want.
November 22nd, 2009 at 5:17 pm
eddie sells guitars and mike is in what you might call an “active” band.
November 22nd, 2009 at 5:58 pm
This is the gayest thing I think I have ever seen….
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:17 pm
Who’s peddling whack merchandise now??!!
Where are all the Eddie haters??!!
November 22nd, 2009 at 7:29 pm
Eddie releases some sneakers and gets criticised from pillar to post. Mike releases a mini bass that doesn’t work and is a class act? WTF?!!! Talk about double standards and short memories!! You are all a bunch of WANKERS!!!!
KING EDWARD VAN HALEN FOREVER!!!!
November 22nd, 2009 at 8:36 pm
That’s cool, I guess, but I’d love to see a Mikey signature bass! (Full scale) A line of the bass guitars he seems to favor playing now, and then, a line of the legendary Jack Daniels bass(es)!
November 23rd, 2009 at 4:10 am
At least Mike is in a band producing NEW music
November 23rd, 2009 at 6:19 am
Pretty lame if you ask me.
November 23rd, 2009 at 6:26 am
Dumbest thing I ever saw…
And yes sam fans if it was a miniture “eddie” replica I’d say the same thing…
November 23rd, 2009 at 6:42 am
If Ed put out little Frankenstein guitars, everyone would claim he’s just in it for the money and doesn’t care about the fans.
November 23rd, 2009 at 7:19 am
So, does this mean Joe is going to fire Mike since Mike’s trying to “cash in” on the Chickenfoot name? LOL.
And to all you ladies out there complaining that people hate on Ed for releasing red, white, & black striped cookies, Kleenex, pregnancy tests, etc., the difference is Mike’s band put out *an album of new music* AND went on tour. I’d love to see an official miniature 5150 Kramer, but I’d rather have a new album of ~good~ music from the King & Dave, first (meaning, no cello solos this time, please).
November 23rd, 2009 at 7:34 am
Hey “Truth” striped sneakers ranks pretty high on the lame list too.
November 23rd, 2009 at 7:55 am
You drama queens make me want to puke!!!!
November 23rd, 2009 at 8:09 am
hey Beau, check out the yamaha website, Mike has his own signature base, complete with the mad anthony’s inlay on the fretboard
November 23rd, 2009 at 9:57 am
I don’t think these are lame at all. Lots of musicians sell licensed miniatures of their most famous instruments. They look really nice on the display stand. I have the Jack Daniels bass at work and people love it. Huge conversation starter.
Too bad Eddie doesn’t sell minis of his axes. They would sell like crazy.
November 23rd, 2009 at 10:12 am
I have to agree with you Duck (believe it or not … lol). But it is a choice … you don’t have to buy any of the crap they all sell. I don’t have an issue with folks trying to sell stuff. Just don’t be a lemming and walk off the mechandise cliff
I do like the car though
November 23rd, 2009 at 10:28 am
Bluesbro!!!!!
Say it aint’ so man!
YOU agreein’ with the DUCK!? Who would’ve thunk!?
November 23rd, 2009 at 11:32 am
I would never begrudge someone to make money. I said was that is lame.
November 23rd, 2009 at 11:34 am
I’m so glad that the debate got started on this cutting edge idea.
After thinking it over, I don’t see why it couldn’t be applicable elsewhere. I bet that tons of different music groups, hell the different forms of entertainment, even the sports world could do the same!
Perhaps someone should come up with a clever name for the stuff…something like “collectibles!”
Lastly…and here’s the best part: we could voice opinions on who’s stuff carries more cache than the other, so we’ll truly know who’s stuff is better than the other!
November 23rd, 2009 at 2:39 pm
Surprised the VH action figures haven’t come out yet: “Collect ‘em all VH fans! relive or create your own internal arguments! Break up the band on your terms! See action figure Sammy on the way in as Dave glares at him!” *The Gary Cherone action figure will be produced in limited numbers.

meanstreet90,
Thanks man!
November 23rd, 2009 at 4:55 pm
little john right on man
November 23rd, 2009 at 4:55 pm
BAHAHAHAHA RUSS!!!
November 23rd, 2009 at 5:30 pm
VH2008 ^^^ “Lots of musicians sell licensed miniatures of their most famous instruments.”
I hear ya. I tried to sell licensed miniatures of my most famous instrument but they were still too big.
November 23rd, 2009 at 7:15 pm
Russ, I picture these “action” figures with repositionable magnets: so, at times they’ll wanna be close and work together, but you turn the magnets around and certain figures are repelled by the shear force.
November 24th, 2009 at 7:01 am
Remember, don’t forget that the DLR action figure has the “hair knob” on the back so you can have 70’s Dave and then retract the hair to have the modern “follically impaired” Dave.
November 25th, 2009 at 1:47 pm
RUSS, remember the prom queen ,
HILARIOUS!
actually KISS had action figures….
November 25th, 2009 at 1:48 pm
of course there would only be action figures of the current line-up, but chickenfoot will have thier own line at a slightly larger scale.
