I can understand wanting new music. But when it gets to the point where people start bashing their idols? That just aint my game man. Sure eddie, even roth have rubbed me the wrong way at times but these guys are rockstars. Not my family...not my nieghbors....not even friends. Why should my life have to be put on hold because eddie had hand surgery? Because they might tour again with no new material? Or becasue eddie's on TV? I'm a fan, no doubt. But I'm also a fan of whats been done. Sometimes I read posts from some of you around here and I feel kinda sorry for you guys. VH has put out so much memorable music to last for decades! I'll never tire of those classic songs! It's a piece of americana and I'm proud to be a part of that. The music has become a piece of who I am. Thats magic right there man. Honestly? I'm kinda nervous about them releasing a new album. Dont get me wrong....if i heard there was one to be released I'd be just as excited as many many here. I just feel that no matter what they release its gonna be put right under a microscope. So many bullshit comparisons. I can already see fuckin' rolling stone rippin it apart, and many here (Many will be sam fans I'll put $$$ on it). So no matter what is done it will never satisfy everyone. And thats sad cause I dont care how big a sammy hagar fan you are....what fuckin' rocker wouldnt want to hear that dave and eddie magic once again, only this time with a copyright of 2010!
