In the third picture down you can see the Marshall “Micro Stack” on Edie’s belt,and like KTC5150 it would be funny if it was a little 5150III micro stack.
Whenever I play through one of those it only amplifies how crappy I play and sound. I’m sure that Eddie will still sound like Eddie through the micro stack and can’t wait to hear it!

Charlie sheen back in his glory days (Platoon, Wall Street, Red Dawn Etc,) was cool.
After all the years of hearing about his drug abuse…drinking issues…cheating…lying…I got sick of this guy real fast. The last really good film I saw him in was “The Arrival” made back in 1992 (great sci fi film to catch if you’ve nvr seen it by the way). This guy is a perfect example of how fame and fortune lets you get away with anything you want.

Document yourself about the 1993 WTC bombings too. The FBI was on it. PROVEN FACT. Read about Able Danger, Sibel Edmonds, and on and on and on.
Why bother with planes?? Because, my really clever friend, MAYBE that if the official version would say “bombs destructed the WTC towers” a lot of people would wonder how come securacom, which managed the security for the WTC up until the end of their contract….on september 2001…would have never seen the terrorists get in and out of the building.

There was a power out the weekend prior to 9/11, and there were unoccupied floors where there were renovation. Listen to William Rodriguez, the janitor of the WTC towers who is a hero. He was the last person to get out of the second tower before it’s collapse.
THERE ARE whistleblowers. There are witnesses. Bombs went off. It’s documented, whether you like it or not. Why then did the port authorities didn’t want to make public the testimonies of more than 500 firemen that were recorded 2 months after the facts? The NY Times had to go to court to obtain the transcripts. Why?
If someone question an official version with scientific facts, testimonies, conflicting accounts, and whistleblowers testimonies, isn’t that enough to open another investigation? Since when do people have to discover the whole complete truth about who did what, when and how before having the right to ask questions?

Is it possible for something to be really cool and really frustrating at the same time?
I DVR’d it and just watched it. I’m not going to try to figure our how to get it recorded on a DVD somehow. It will get deleted so I have more room for my daughter’s episodes of Dora the Explorer. If this were 25 years ago I’d spend hours waiting up to see Eddie and then make sure I edited the clip to a Van Halen VHS compilation tape. Then I’d store it away fully believing that I’d watch it again someday…
And if Eddie were releasing new music on a less-than-every-decade-or-so I’d do it again. C’mon Ed…I’ll give you credit for a nice sense of humor and taking little steps to get out in the spotlight again. Thank you for that. On the one hand we have a lot to be grateful for and maybe you don’t owe us anything. On the other, it sure would be nice for you to focus on where you came from and make some new music…and then share it with the rest of us. How long are you going to make us wait? If you ask me, Ed smoked like never before!! He played a mean ass lick!! He used the drop to hell tail piece and the E string was LOW baby! But Yeah, it kicked major ass. And that’s with his thumb all wrapped up. I hate to say it (specially to the haters), he’s still got it and sounds sick!! I would go so far as to say that the little piece he played sounded like part of a new groove!!

I wonder if he will play one of the hundreds of songs he has written? Probably not…my guess is “Ain’t talkin’ bout love”. It’s worked for the last 30 years, keep ridin’ that pony until it drops!

It won’t work, because I’m not some kind of crackpot who believes in retarded theories, like GOD, and reincarnation, or angels and creationism. I talk about facts. At first I was sold to the official story. Then in 2003 I began investigating the events of that day, because I had doubts about flight 93. Since then, I’ve tried many times to see what Popular Mechanics, NIST, or the discovery channel had to say. Everytime, they avoided the unanswered questions.
To me, the STFU reaction is exactly the same as saying my questions are legitimate. It proves that you are totally incapable of questioning what your medias tell you. As soon as someone says anything that goes out of the mainstream narrative, your conditioned reaction is: a person who contradicts the official story = a lunatic conspiracy theorist.
Oh and this statement about Hollywood liberals is exactly the same as saying “racists white thrash from the south”.

Yeah, I agree. Eddie Van Halen is playing extra fast and accurate in this television show. Just how he played in the early days. Great to see. And inspired me to want to try and learn what he played. I never heard him play those notes before down at the open-5th fret area. I did my best learning it and posted a video lesson at youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ioXERIPjAUY
I agree, the intro piece (open strings to 5th fret) could be part of a new song he’s written. My guess is Van Halen is almost finished with a new album and that’s why they are planning this 2010 tour… For the new album release.

Well….if it means anything: I think the reason dave has been so quiet is because they ARE recording or at least setting a game plan. Remember how quiet dave was when the rumors of the reunion tour leaked? Next thing we know dave’s on stage with eddie al and wolf and its “press conference time!”. I could be way off….this is NOT wishful thinking here. I just really get that feeling.
Also! Has anyone else heard the rumor that the album cover for the new VH album is supposed to be an “older” version of the “jaded new years baby” on the cover of 1984? If thats true what do you guys think of that idea?
