Hmmm didn’t Ed get pissed when Sammy and Mike were doing their own thing between records? WVH does have some talent (much more than I do – I can admit), but why not keep Mike and let Wolf play guitar behind Ed. Ed writes multiple guitar parts in his songs anyways. Just my opinion.

Wolf is set for life and worked for it with Dad,Uncle Alex and Dave. Now Wolf can get a band be creative and jam with no money worries or asking Dad for the cash.
Eddie needs to play before he is just too old. Sammy Hagar runs circles around Edward and David. He is a Rock and Roll STUD!! Bring back Mike, tour with Dave and Sammmy. Party with all your old buddies and Wolf can open!! What a PARTY and Ed get more $$$$$

Most fear change & always want what has been lost. The only spring chicken hear is Wolf who probably had to work twice as hard then the others. They just fell back into the groove & caught up on lost time. Better enjoy this while you can. Everything I’ve read from DLR,Ed,Alex tells me Wolf has had a hand in every aspect of this colaboration from set list to patching up old wounds. Remember the veterans of VH already gave you their youth and should be smart enough to know what they do’nt want to miss out on in their lives now. VH keep doing what makes you happy in this world & fck whoever does’nt understand it. Guys I turn 40 Dec. 1st this year and my oldest son who just turned 13 March 29 just purchesd his first cd VH Greatest Hits. That should tell you everything is good so keep on rockin.

This clown has nowhere near the talent of his father. Don’t you all remember what EVH was doing when he was 16,17,18?
Just another spoiled brat that will ride the coat tails of his dad, and not have to work or prove himself the rest of his life.

I have been waiting for so long to hear Wolf sing! This is absolutely brilliant. Only bad thing is that I can’t stand that haircut! The one he had on the 2007 tour was better.

The fact that so many people comment on this shows that something is not right.
1. It’s obvious that Mike Anthony is most likely a fun and cool guy and was probably the most easy going guy in VH ever.
2. HUGE missed opportunity to not have him on a major reunion tour. sure…take your son with you, have him play 2nd guitar, have him play some songs on base….but don’t put him out there and sell him as a suitable replacement especially when you know damn well the fans would love Mike Anthony up there.
3. used to be a huge fan. they are a major band. but now, after so much dumb antics and drama…I really am only peripherally interested in this band now. I wonder if alot of people feel the same.

He really, really rocked at the Papa Roach cover… I just don’t dig Jimmy Eat World, so I didn’t play it. But the singer in that cover sucked, and there’s a time where everyone got lost except by Wolf. God, in a couple years those guys are gonna say “I played with Wolfgang Van Halen” instead of “I played with Eddie Van Halen’s son” if they don’t say “I’ve played with a famous guitar player’s son”
