I am very happy to see this.In the past when Ed would be on stage or ads he would have a different guitar not his trademark guitar.Maybe this is a sign that he has returned to his roots.That paint design is what alot of people know and as a kid back in the day that is what made me want to start to build my first guitar.

Rob relax dude, first of all, don’t get your panties all waded up in a bunch Melvin!!! Second, be glad EVH is in the spotlight – it’s a damn good sign!!! Third, you know your going to watch that episode (and probably piss yourself watching it) so don’t even pretend to be all upset about his guest appearance on that show!! The only guest appearance you’ll ever make, anywhere, is filling in for your buddy’s shift at your local Burger King. Who cares what EVH sells, I hope he makes a shit load of money doing it, just because it pisses off dorks like you!!! Hmm, looks like you can’t have your way dillweed!!! Bummer!!!!

I love VH, but this is the work of his new wife! Please ED, dont turn out to be another Ozzy with your wife running your life! I personally dont get it!
I agree with Rob ( whoever you are ) I am sick of all this BS, Be a rocker, write great music, tour every other year, stick to what your great at. His wife/publicist is up to somthing and I dont like it. I just want him to be a rock star again and put his heart and soul into his music again.
I would also like them to start acting like a band. One guy does not make a band its a partnership and when its starts to become a business like it is now the music will reflect it. Say what you want about Chickenfoot, but you hear that they are a band in their music!

Pierre, Ed said recently (within the last three weeks) that they were in the studio with Dave rehearsing for a new tour for next year and writing new material. He had surgery on his hand last month and is recovering and expects to be fully recovered in about 3 to 4 months after which we’ll no doubt hear more details on the new material he and Wolfgang were referring to.
