The trailer for ‘Spread’ contains a Van Halen reference towards the end:
The trailer for ‘The Goods: Live Hard, Sell Hard’ mentions David Lee Roth and Van Halen:
The trailer for Zombieland contains “Everybody Wants Some”:

Here’s what the DUCK thinks….
Anytime a film uses a “classic VH” song it’s a plus.
More exposure for the band. (Ex: hey man…who sings that cool song that’s in that movie? You mean Van Halen?)Personally I would like some new music like any die hard fan but I’m a humble dude. I take what i’m given…and usually dont ask for more.
Unless of course we’re talkin cute girls…then I always want seconds!

Good news to me. If you like Chickenfoot good for you, I got the album but its ok at best. I don’t think anybody really believes its that great of an album. Kind of like Van Halen 3, I kept telling myself it was a good album cause I love Van Halen that much but bottom line it sucked. Ready for the new Van Halen album!

i would LOVE to see a comprehensive compilation of VH referances from tv/FILM — it would be amazing. they were mentioned on ” the drew carey show ” several times and had sweet referance in ” better off dead ” .

You can go purchase the Van Halen Encyclopedia. It has all information about every song, what movies, etc. Tons of crazy stuff.

Van Halen is mentioned in tons of Adam Sandler movies… especially the older ones. That’s always fun! Hope Eddie is having a great time with Janie on their honeymoon!
