I'm not even implying that all Van Haggar material was crap, and of course it's a matter of taste if you like cheesy rock ballads, but there can really be no serious discussion about VH 1978-84 being superior in every respect, musically, sonically, in virtuosity, artistically, in showmanship, in simply every way one can think of. If you dont comprehemd this, it cant really be explained to you. Chickenfoot on the other hand is just a lame duck.
