I emptied my wallet in 04 and and 07, damn right I did. And here's a another news flash from a Van Hagar fan....07 was a better show! Sure they didn't play some of my favorite VH, but what they did play was massive, loud and and it kicked ass! One of the last things your wrote about improv...I could not agree with you more. I tried. It hurt. I wish VH did a little more of that. It was one of Zep's most powerful weapons. I'm hoping the next VH tour will have more room for changing it up a little. Wolfie's a little older, more polished, and I really think that's the only reason the set list stayed static. Oh and BTW, I definitely "had a good time" at each show I went to!! Oh, Frank!
