While we read about recycled VH news from twenty years ago, Sammy & Mike are making it happen NOW. 'Nuff said I suppose, but you read so much B.S. on here it seems worthwhile every now and then to separate the BS from the truth once in a while. Facts are facts, so love Eddie all you want, but you're in some strange-ass denial if you try to say Sammy & Dave are irrellavant without Ed. And what do you think are the chances are that Ed's going to come up with a classic when you take account of his activity over the last ten years? You going to bet the farm on it being a classic? I wouldn't even give you odds on it being as good as Chickenfoot. Which, by the way, while not being the second coming is still an excellent rock album. Free your mind dude and listen with open ears. I love Eddie..he is the reason I play guitar, but somewhere over the last 15 years the dude has lost focus completely on how to write good VH songs. With the exception of 1 or 2 songs on 'III' the album was a mess. Hopefully Dave and Wolfie can steer Eddie away from the stranger, groovless drivel he tended toward on 'III'. I'd rather have no new album then hear something like that again.
