Curious on what the first week sales are? It’s sad that alot of older more establish bands/musicians don’t get the credit they deserve when writing new music.

Need any more proof- haters! Face it these guys have put out an excellent fun rock album.

very cool!

I give it a 5.150!!!!!!
Others a 3.16
As the CD is being reviewed, VH is now OU812.
Long live the Footmonster!
I just played the GH VH game, and you can’t get past this one part until you smash your plastic guitar into pieces, then you have to go out and buy another one. If you don’t, the band breaks up and Wolfie tours with Chickenfoot under his own label. Very confusing…:)

5 out of 5 from me. This album rocks. Words cannot describe my admiration of these tunes. If you haven’t gotten a copy yet, do yourself a favor…buy it. This is some of the best if not the best stuff I’ve heard out of Sam or Joe. Hearing Mikey’s signature backing vocals again is just great fun and Chad just blows you away with his playing. Amazing stuff. This is easily one of the best albums in years by anybody. Scratch the itch, grab the ‘foot…

If want to get to liking this album I recommend that you listen to “My Kinda Girl” and “Learning to Fly”. My kinda girl’s got a great grove to it and a sweet harmony hook with background vocals. Learning to fly is a darker song that with a moving melody. All in all, good stuff!

I pre-ordered it! Love it! Please add more mid-west tour dates! I really really want to see Chickenfoot!

Believe it or not I’m happy for these guys too.
In a world of disney actors “trying” to be rockstars…hip hop that all sounds the same…and people paying $100 a ticket for lip synched concerts….it’s good to see that people still love good ol’ rock and roll man!
Again…not a fan. But I always give credit where credit is due!

Brilliant album.
First found out about Chickenfoot on the VHND site. So, went over to their site, and it blew me away when I found out that Satch was part of this fantastic project.
Immediately listened to the sound bites, and couldn’t wait to get into my local HMV in Vancouver the day the CD was released.
Sammy sounds the best I heard him since Van Halen…. better even! That Chad Smith can sure hit the skins and hey, Mike, great to see you back in the limelight where you truly belong. Joe… I mean, whoa!… you rock on this album. More.. More… More….

This is the best cd released in the last 10 years. No doubt these four guys can rock with ANYONE out there today. They are really on top of their game. Satch and Mikey blew me away on this CD. Chad is a hell of a drummer and Sammys voice is as good as ever!

BY the way Eddie and David Lee WHO?? They are DONE!
June 15th, 2009 at 1:58 pm
First weeks sales were 49000 which is pretty respectable. I think it will drop out of the top 10 this week, though. I’m sure the die hard fans snapped the album up last week.
June 15th, 2009 at 7:26 pm
Eddie and David Lee who??
You are an idiot, Scott.
June 17th, 2009 at 7:30 am
No I was joking, but seriously, DLR7884 you, Eddie and Dave must be living in the past! What have they done lately. CHICKENFOOT get along great and love making music. Eddie is washed up, Dave never could sing live! Have you even seen Dave live, he SUCKS! Sams the man just admit it. You sir are the idiot!
June 17th, 2009 at 12:00 pm
I stand corrected. This week the album stayed at number 4 in the States and sales increased to 79000!

The more people I talk to the more are excited about Chickenfoot. I talked to 3 people today after coming in my shop seeing their video, and went out and bought it. Satch being in a band has a lotta of people curious.
