I don't think Ed was bitter about Gary, I thought that Gary left due to the record company really wanting a single and Gary not wanting to be in a band that has to battle bad press AND the pressure of a record company on your back. It somewhat stifles the creativity.

Definately think Gary should've stayed on for a second album, "Love Again" could've been bigger and better than VH3 and possibly shown fans that Gary totally had the chops for the band (which he did - I have a bootlegged live album of the III Tour in Sydney, its great stuff).

Totally agree with John, I don't see why people complain because Extreme, Van Halen and Chickenfoot show no signs of slowing down and they're all available to see live! I caught Extreme in November and i'm seeing Chickenfoot next week in London, now I just need to see the man himself, Ed, and I'll have seen 'em all.

John - at least "Without You" was put on Video Hits, even if it is the radio version. I think the band seems to want to try to ignore that VH3 ever existed. Apart from Mike, who mentioned Gary at the RARHOF thank-yous.

I guess it would be the news we got with the interview two seconds before the CF merchandise news came out. Probably something like that. I am agreeing with the others-- This is a VH site...Props to CF for being decent, but seriously..? I come here for VH and VH alone.

Kevin, just curious what would be this weeks headline if this were strictly a vh site?

Someone here asked why VHND doesn't cover Gary Cherone & VH3 & Extreme. They do! Have you seen the "Gary Cherone / VH III" link in the "Categories" section located at the top right corner of every page of the VHND? There are a few stories there, but those are only since they revamped the VHND a year ago.

Back when Gary was in the band, the VHND had countless stories on the current form of VH, (of course, you can read all those by going to the blue link in the top right corner of every page) and VHStore.com sold tons of VH3 merchandise, but those items are all sold out now.
