I like the song but I don’t understand why no one is creative enough to make a video different from Right Now?!
This is what the 3rd or 4th time Sam and Mike have used this concept!

We all want Van Halen…that’s why we go to this site…but there is none! Maybe…and that’s a big Maybe next year, but who knows..when was the last full album again? (not including VH III)?
I’m happy to hear Chickenfoot…as Sammy says, it’s VH without Eddie and Alex, and they have some pretty awesome replacements in those roles.

The band have to use this. Straight up. It would win awards, and it enhances the song to a new level, and I cant say enough about the track.

Great song but I hate poliical rock and roll. Especially when the facts in the video are incorrect. “90% of the guns confiscated in Mexico came from the U.S.” This has been proven false a hundred times. Typical liberal psycho babble. Bring on the FUN rock and roll!

Seems like CF has been taking pains to not compare themselves against Van Halen, and that’s been a smart strategy.
But then in that interview Sammy goes and says, “Chickenfoot is Van Halen without Ed and Al.”
That’s the kind of thing the *critics* and *fans* might say on your behalf, if they deem you’ve proved yourself. When you say it *yourself* it sounds like bluster, and sets people up for disappointment.
I’m a Sammy fan, and believe he is genuinely down to earth, but when his ego pokes out he shoots himself in the (chicken) foot.
With The Other Half it was different, because that wasn’t a real band and they weren’t pretending to be anything more than what it was. They weren’t comparing themselves to VH.
Bad move Sammy. Waiting for EVH to respond: “Our new album will be like Chickenfoot but without Sammy and Mike.” Hopefully he won’t respond like that (he won’t respond at all), but if he does Sammy walked right into it.

Presidentde Calderon is finally stepping up to bat against the drug warlords and he can’t back down. Now Odrama needs to step up and get give him some military help.

I like Mike but it seem that he had a weak personality,because Sammy rules him.
I love Hagar era of Van Halen, they was the N.1 band in late ‘80 early ‘90 but his way of talking about Chickenfoot is disappointing to me as a person.The curious thing is that Sammy wanted to create a supergroup after the reunion of Van Halen with Dave was a success. Whether envious?
At the MTV awards in 2002 Dave and Sam were guests, during their entry, the songs were “Runnin’ with the devil” and “Right now”, no one interested in a single song from their solo career, both are liable to EDDIE VAN HALEN.
By the way, to say that “Chickenfoot is like VH without Ed and Al” is nonsense.

Chickenfoot Rocks!!!! Sammy Is world Class even though I don’t agree with his statement of Chickenfoot being Van Halen without Ed and Al or rivaling Led Zeppelin. Mike is and always a pretty cool guy. Joe is smoking on th six string even though Eddie is still the king. Chad is ten times better drummer with Chickenfoot than he was when he was with those dumb ass clowns from the Chili Peppers who were a few songs good. The Wabo’s need a lesson in rockin hard more even though they still are pretty cool. As for the Current VH Fans, let’s hope to hear some new material and that it would sound harder and better than Chickenfoot. As for the haters of Chickenfoot………Their foot up your shitty skanky asses and long live the Foot

How is Chickenfoot the best thing to happen to Chad? He’s in one of the biggest alternative rock bands ever, and has been for 20 years now. That is pretty stupid to suggest that.
Bad move by VHND to put this video up, people aren’t bothering to read and think this is an actual chickenfoot video. Ah well.
Can’t blame you though, for being annoyed at the recurrence of these “Right Now” style videos. Sam put one out for “Cosmic Universal Fashion” and it was lame to the extreme.
if VH came out with a new album, I doubt they’d even need videos, word of mouth would sell that album fast (unless it was a total bomb - but if Sammy can put his shit together and make something decent, Ed can too, if not better).
