I should have used the following as the last sentence of my opinionated/totally bias review:

I waited fifty years to be graced with what I advocate as THE BEST ROCK N ROLL BAND IN THE HISTORY OF MUSIC! ! !

PS I swear that I've never, ever experienced onstage chemistry anywhere within a comparable measure to what "Chickenfoot" brings to the stage!

"Chickenfoot is exponentially more than the sum of it's parts!
Example: 1+1+1+1 does not equal 4, it equals . . . .well, "Chickenfoot"

Chickenfoot is far more than the sum of it's member's! ! ! These artist's are a force to be rekoned with individually as it is but putting the four of them together was and is the best idea in the history of rock n roll. The chemistry was oozing off the stage like the fog in a can. It blasted out of the speakers like a hydrogen bomb! What an experience! ! ! I've been around! I was a teenager when I saw Montrose for the first time. I was 20 when I saw Van Halen for the first time. The next 30 years were full of concert experiences including ACDC and Michael Jackson! ! ! I saw Chickenfoot at Lake Tahoe at 50 and must admit they are second best to none! ! !

Just saw the show last night in Phoenix. The house was packed, and the Dodge Theater is a fairly large venue. My ears are still bleeding!
This show was being shot for a DVD. There were cameras all over the stage and crowd. The energy level was high from both the band and audience.
Sammy does NOT look 60-something. He was all over the stage and his voice dominated. Satriani was one with the guitar. Michael Anthony lacked nothing, and it was awesome to hear those backup vocals once again, something I really missed at the VH show in Nov 2007.
Chad Smith begins destroying his drum kit from the word "go." What an amazing experience it was to watch him play! Does this guy ever tire?
Great show! Highly recommended!

Just saw the chickenfoot show at the Mohegan sun arena in CT. on august 20 and let me tell you if you get a chance to see them you better not miss out. Its by far the best kick ass in your face rock show of the year but with all that talent wrapped up in 1 band what do you expect.the show was as energetic as any show ive been to and the sound was better than listening to the cd itself incredible

Going to see them tomorrow night.....Definetely pumped..
I have seen almost every great guitar player rock music has known...Revealing my age...but Satriani is in the top 3 in my book and I always look forward to seeing the master blow the roof off the place...I can't think of anyone still living I would rather see....Sitting in the front row...Fear the Foot.

REVIEW - CHICKENFOOT @ THE FILLMORE, SAN FRANCISCO 5/17/2009

Sorry, but although these guys were great and performed well, the sound was not very clear. They were way too loud, I suspect partly due to Chad's heavy handed playing and tenacity. Everyone had their sh** turned up so loud I could barely distinguish Joe's guitar solos - imagine that?
Sammy vocals came across really well however, and he was excellent. It was a great show but too loud for real clarity and seperation. I was also surprised they didn't do any extended jams, what with Satch and all those incredible musicians, they should have stretched some tunes. I really thought they would 'jam' more than they did.
