It is sad to say but on a Van Halen website, there is more info about ‘CF’ than there is the mighty VH… Maybe that is because Sammy, Mike, & the guys are doing what they love and sharing it with their fans. The album and tour will be great!!!!!!!! Maybe when Eddie gets off his ass, we’ll hear the Van Halen machine roar again… That is if anyone wants to hear it or remembers them.

On top of this new effort from ChickenFoot it would truly be a great year for rock music if VH would release something new. It’s been way too long!

It will always be an event when VH releases something, or even when they tour.
In the meantime, thank god for the occasional new band or supergroup (I miss Velvet Revolver!!!!!) that creates this kind of excitement!
I’m sure the VHND will be full of VH news when they do something again, but I hope it’s about new music and not another EVH product. I really liked Ed’s music that he released on BOBW, but come on…let’s get on with it.

If it was Van Halen there would be no new music.Be happy for something fresh instead of a greatest hits package.

Funny….I remember a quote from Ed in an interview after the ‘04 tour talking about he was all about the music, and and that Sam and Mike were more into selling tequila and hot sauce. Van Halen hasn’t put out a CD of new material in over a decade! Sammy has done a ton of new material and sold his most of his tequila company for millions. No, tens of millions.

This can be great.Satriani is in a class by himself.I love EVH.While he is busy dealing with a big head,this will fill the void for me. Cant wait!

I feel like I did back in my teen and twenties waiting for ne VH music to come out. Of course now there are more important things in life that we all have to deal with- its part of growing up. But, I am excited to hear new music from CF- I love Sammy, and his whole attitude, I swear he would be happy no matter where is- no matter what his situation in life is. He has been up and down- he just goes with the flow.

Those two guys in Chicken Foot may not be my favorite half of what used to be known as Van Halen, still they WILL come and play Europe. While we’re still waiting with wet eyes a tour annoucement for Europe from the Van Halen camp…So at least can we be grateful for CF comin’ over here and, I hope deliver a few songs from their glorious VH days. They don’t need the extra buck (even if they’ll get it in the end), nobody forced them into crossing the pond, and I guess they’ll be doin’ it for fun.
Some dutch brothers should take notice and think that on the land where they were born,and outside in Europe thousands of fans would be happy to see them live with that wild animal that is David Lee Roth.
