The “FOOT” comin at ya!!!

Hey everyone. As you probably know by now, there is alot happening with Chickenfoot. We played out first gig on Wed.the 18th, and it was great!!! It was a private show for Best Buy Corp. at the Grove in Anaheim, Ca. We played for about 45 min., and rocked the house!! Check out my website(www.madanthonycafe.com), as I will be throwing up a few pictures from the show. Also, if you haven’t already heard them, we have two of the songs from our CD to check out on our website—www.chickenfoot.us. You can also hear them on our facebook page. We are also booking gigs starting in May, so be sure to check out our website for the dates. Sammy, Chad, Joe and I are totally psyched up, and ready to bash “HARD” with all of you. Personally, it’s been waaaaaay to long since I’ve been out on tour and cannot wait to party down with all of you, so stay tuned as everything unfolds. See you this summer,OWWWWWWW!!!!!!! Michael

It awesome to see Sammy & Mike doing something.. Now Maybe, Eddie and Alex will get with it.. But, I wouldn’t bet on it…

Michael Anthony/Sammy Hagar have the same awesome, fun party vibe NOW that Van Halen USED to have.
That is what has always got my attention from VH back in the day and I am still a life-long fan of all it’s incarnations. Made me want to get in a band with some FRIENDS and HAVE FUN.
I am glad and excited that Sammy/Mike have this new project, which is a vehicle for that FUN to continue.
Not to bag VH in its current form, but they weren’t too FUN. Maybe if that had Anthony, it would’ve been different.
I sincerely hope Eddie, Alex, Dave, & do something again that is FUN. Let’s get back to the reason most people play music: CHICKS & FUN!!!
Chickenfoot fills that void. THANK GOD!!

There’s something incredibly optimistic about Mike. Comes across even in a few short sentences on the page. Get your asses over to England as soon as you can, we’re waiting.

I like that Chickenfoot is giving us something to look forward to, but can we get a release date already? The two songs are good and I want to hear the album.
Give me a date to look forward to hearing some great rock ‘n’ roll! I will buy tickets to see the tour, but I want the album first.
Just set the release date already.

As I said in the last post. If any former VH member deserves success after VH it’s Michael Anthony.
I am glad to see Mikey playing and having fun again.
That’s the way it should be!
I can’t wait to see another Mikey solo in concert again.

I love hearing from Mike…he’s in a band that appreciates him, and he never stopped appreciating the fans. There’s a lesson for Eddie and Alex in that.
Best case scenario: Chickenfoot creates some great new music and creates a kick-ass tour that makes people happy.
VH records a true VH record that makes them happy and their fans happy, and equally important…they cheer up a little and rediscover their joy of creating/playing good music rather than just cashing in on high ticket prices and lacklustre performances that are pale imitations of their past exuberance…

Just seen that you’re playing London (surprise surprise) at the O2 Academy.. O2 have Academy’s all over England.. try and make it to some dates further north will you? Like Sheffield frinstance….
