I don't think Steve was starting a fight, he had said many times before that Eddie was a big influence on him. I think he was just showing Eddie all he had learned from him. One thing that was dissappointing was to hear hear Eddie jamming the same solo licks he did at every other jam. He really got stuck in a rut around that time, solo wise. Not that it was bad, but "been there, hear it too many times". It did prove once and for all that Eddie is an AWSOME rhythm player. He is WAY TO UNDERRATED in that department! Really cool to see some bootleg stuff!
