If you want VH news go to their home page,it seems pretty obvious that this site is dedicated to anyone who had something to do with Van Halen (Minus Gary Cherone, an oversight I’m sure) Get over yourselves, remember that these guys have lives outside of making music, its not the only thing that they have to do. As we get older more responsibilties come into play. I for one am not so shallow that I need new VH music to get me through the coming days, if that is what you need then you need to look at yourself and wonder what it is you think they owe you! They didn’t promise any such thing, good things come to those who wait! There is more to life than Van Halen, trust me when they come back it will be awesome, do you really think that eddie has stopped writing music? If so you are really out of the loop of what a man who made his living writing songs does! Chill it will happen!

EDDIE HASN’T PUT OUT AN ALBUM IN 11 YEARS. 11 YEARS MY FRIEND! 2 SONGS WITH DAVE, 3 WITH SAMMY, AND 2 PORNO SONGS IS WHAT WE GET?

HERE’S WHAT THE REST OF US DO HERE IN THE REAL WORLD: WE GET UP, GO TO WORK, PROVIDE FOR OUR FAMILIES, AND WANT TO ENJOY LIFE. I THINK IT’S FUNNY THAT A BEACH BUM FROM HOLLAND COMES TO AMERICA, LIVES HERE TO START OVER, AND BECOMES ONE OF THE GREATEST MUSICIANS ALIVE.

WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT FIRE THAT EDDIE HAD WHEN HE WANTED TO DO THIS FOR A LIVING? WHERE IS THE MUSIC FROM THE SEINFELD “VAULT”?

YOU PROBABLY HAVE EVERY CD LIKE THE REST OF US. WE PAID FOR HIS WAY OF LIFE BECAUSE WE ENJOY THE PRODUCT. JUST LIKE WE ENJOY MCDONALDS OR REEBOK OR ANYTHING ELSE. WITHOUT THE “CONSUMER” WHICH IS US, WHERE WOULD THESE DREAMERS BE WITHOUT US?

SO THANK YOU JONAS FOR POINTING OUT THAT THEY HAVE MORE TO DO THAN MUSIC. HOW ABOUT WE THE CONSUMERS AND FANS QUIT BUYING THEIR MUSIC?

OH YEAH THAT’S RIGHT, I CAN’T BUY NEW VAN HALEN BECAUSE THERE WILL NEVER BE ANY NEW MATERIAL.

What sinks III, besides the bad blood left over from 2 impressive eras, is that it just wasn’t VH. What was worse, Ed was trying to force Gary to be Sammy. It’s like trying to put a blonde wig on your brunette girlfriend to pretend you’re with someone different than you are.

There’s some good in everything though, and had III been a solo album, perhaps EVH would have gotten his demons out in a more productive sense, and people would have received it better…because you’ve got a lot to live up to when you slap “VH” on something…

Ditto for “Chinese Democracy”…had Axl called it “Axl’s Roses” perhaps it would have been viewed differently and appreciated for what it is…rather than what it wasn’t.

The similarities between Ed and Axl are actually quite striking…one is paralyzed by his insecurities and addictions, and the other by his “Howard Hughes-like” obsessive compulsive disorder. Can you imagine these 2 in a studio together?

I own every VH album, and though some are better than others, I enjoy all of them, even “3″. A shocker, I know
