CD & TOUR INFO:
Chickenfoot’s self-titled debut CD will be released in either APRIL or MAY. The first single might be either “Oh, Yeah!” or “Bitten By The Wolf.” The tour will kick off in MAY, warming up in smaller venues (possibly clubs) in the USA followed by a few weeks in Europe during the summer. Then the band will return to the USA for a larger headlining tour this fall. The band is planning on performing the entire CD as well as songs from each of the band members careers. So, expect to hear some classics from Van Halen, Sammy Hagar, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and some blazin’ Joe Satriani instrumentals! It’s going to be a great year for rock ‘n’ roll!

I GOTTA HEAR THIS ALBUM!!-BUT It`ll be`fer the same reason why I “slow-down”`fer carwrecks.As a drummer i can safely tellya, “willferral/chadsmith” is a bloody-good drummer.& I`ve been a fan of satch`s since `88.-Although, by`06 I realized how he “sticks to certain formulas”in his songwriting/structure.Sammy pre-halen,great.Post`halen?-TRAGIC.”little white lies”was cool,but then he went&robbed “GARY GLITTER”(masteq?)christ,what was next?a cover`v “MARGARITAVILLE”?:)DLR`S solo stuff in my humble opinion,FLAT-OUT ROCKS!!”DIAMONDDAVE” stayed true to his(singing)talents all-along,I DARE you to study his entire catalog!!.BUT-when ihear DLRsolo i miss VH,&whenihear vanhgar-i miss DLR.(what could`ve been Y`know?)MEWISEMAGIC/CAN`TGETTISSTUFFNOMORE had all the BALLS&MORE than “III,BALANCE&F.U.C.K.”put together–PERIOD.=ENJOY “chickenfoot” for now,(as iwill),BUT-NEW ROTH/VH material would/WILL EASILY BLOW IT OUT OF THE WATER!!!!!!-PLACE`YER BETS!!!-mybeer&bowl`s empty>Later.

I LIKE WHAT JONAS POSTED HERE, READ CAREFULLY!

If you want VH news go to their home page,it seems pretty obvious that this site is dedicated to anyone who had something to do with Van Halen (Minus Gary Cherone, an oversight I’m sure) Get over yourselves, remember that these guys have lives outside of making music, its not the only thing that they have to do. As we get older more responsibilties come into play. I for one am not so shallow that I need new VH music to get me through the coming days, if that is what you need then you need to look at yourself and wonder what it is you think they owe you! They didn’t promise any such thing, good things come to those who wait! There is more to life than Van Halen, trust me when they come back it will be awesome, do you really think that eddie has stopped writing music? If so you are really out of the loop of what a man who made his living writing songs does! Chill it will happen!

OK JONAS, UM YOU SAID THESE GUYS HAVE MORE TO LIFE THAN MUSIC? SO IF EDDIE IS WRITING MUSIC, ISN’T THAT PART OF HIS LIFE? ISN’T THAT WHAT HE DECIDED TO DO FOR A LIFE? HIS LIFE AND THE WAY HE LIVES IS BECAUSE OF US THE FANS. WE PAID FOR HIS MUSIC, HIS SHOWS, AND HIS GUITARS AND EVERYTHING ELSE HE PUTS OUT THERE.

EDDIE HASN’T PUT OUT AN ALBUM IN 11 YEARS. 11 YEARS MY FRIEND! 2 SONGS WITH DAVE, 3 WITH SAMMY, AND 2 PORNO SONGS IS WHAT WE GET?

HERE’S WHAT THE REST OF US DO HERE IN THE REAL WORLD: WE GET UP, GO TO WORK, PROVIDE FOR OUR FAMILIES, AND WANT TO ENJOY LIFE. I THINK IT’S FUNNY THAT A BEACH BUM FROM HOLLAND COMES TO AMERICA, LIVES HERE TO START OVER, AND BECOMES ONE OF THE GREATEST MUSICIANS ALIVE.

WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT FIRE THAT EDDIE HAD WHEN HE WANTED TO DO THIS FOR A LIVING? WHERE IS THE MUSIC FROM THE SEINFELD “VAULT”?

YOU PROBABLY HAVE EVERY CD LIKE THE REST OF US. WE PAID FOR HIS WAY OF LIFE BECAUSE WE ENJOY THE PRODUCT. JUST LIKE WE ENJOY MCDONALDS OR REEBOK OR ANYTHING ELSE. WITHOUT THE “CONSUMER” WHICH IS US, WHERE WOULD THESE DREAMERS BE WITHOUT US?

SO THANK YOU JONAS FOR POINTING OUT THAT THEY HAVE MORE TO DO THAN MUSIC. HOW ABOUT WE THE CONSUMERS AND FANS QUIT BUYING THEIR MUSIC?

OH YEAH THAT’S RIGHT, I CAN’T BUY NEW VAN HALEN BECAUSE THERE WILL NEVER BE ANY NEW MATERIAL.
