Every night this week, at 7pm pacific, Cabo Wabo Radio will be playng never-heard-before Cabo Wabo concerts! They’re going through their archives from the past few years and will do an hour of unreleased Sammy stuff, with guest stars, from 7pm-8pm pacific time.

I like sammys music but i dont know if i can get my head around him coming off as some snobby wino-arrogant-hollywood-name-dropping type.Dude! We know you made lots of money and we know you have rich friends but WTF??!! does that have to do with my day….Tell me about rock and roll…Not Emeril and Toby keith…..Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz…..Boring! Sam has riden the coattails off people his whole life whether it be Toby Keith, the Scorpions, Michael Anthony, or Van Halen. His solo career has been “good” at best. (Only ONE platnum album with VOA) All about being at the right place at the right time and he has definitely taken advantage of that.

Van Halen was an A-List attraction. I guess they still are, but my point is that Sammy outside of VH is not. I love Sammy and I love his Live shows, but in order to keep himself from falling off the face of the Earth, he does things like cross market promote (Toby Keith, Kenney Cheesey Chesney and his whole Livin It Up album) because he kinda has to. His main audience isn’t young anymore…they’ve moved on to stuff like country and cooking shows. And if he doesn’t have to, then he’s just doing it because he can! He’s friggin Sammy Hagar!! His reputation preceeds him, and if anything, he’s riding his own coattails now. Just remember…there is only One Way to Rock!

van halen+roth=great music
van halen+hagar=crap
most will say that with hagarin van halen u could only pick a few songs you really like, but with roth it was hard to pick one u didnt like.

Most will also say that your math is off. Your equations can be broken down into just one. VH=Great Music. You had 2 variables that cancel themselves out. Common mistake.
