According to MelodicRock.com—which has frequently been a source of accurate VH info—“Van Halen will likely tour in 2007 with David Lee Roth as frontman.”
The MelodicRock report reads as follows:
VAN HALEN AND ROTH - FINALLY IN 2007
No more teasing. Never tease where Van Halen is concerned…I have information from a highly placed source that Van Halen will likely tour in 2007 with David Lee Roth as frontman.
Negotiations are currently underway to re-unite Van Halen with their original frontman for a tour in 2007 that will take in Amercia and possibly other territories. While nothing in the world of Van Halen is set until the band walk out on stage, I can confirm that negotiations between all parties have been underway for some time, trying to put together a big 2007 re-union tour.

hey I hope van halen does tour, all these other so called
bands sound like S**t,this new age crap cant come close to what eddie, alex, and david sound like i havent herd one band do a guitar solo like eruption the only one that comes close is avenged sevenfold. i hope van halen tours in utah and not at the engery solutions arena do it at the east center. come on eddie you live in utah and dont make em pricy as all hell.

i had the liberty of seeing van halen on there first world tour december 3rd 1978 at the san diego sports arena!ive been a unbelievable fan of van halen from the get-go!im convinced there is no other band that even comes remotly close to the talent of van halen with dimond dave!i feel a reunion would be vantastic to say the least! i hope they can put the past in the past and reunite it would be a dream come true for me to see them tour again!like dave said at the us fest in 1983 everybody on stage turn your equipment backwards and point your backs to the croud that way everybody will be backstage?

If VAN HALEN decides to open the reunion tour in Las Vegas, I would hope that they would not use “The Pearl” venue at the Palms (cap 2400). It is way to small to accommodate the 10000+ multiple show crowds this tour would generate, and with The Diamond Dave back this thing will be “HUGE”. Sorry George this Monster would be phenomenal PR for your new venue but terrible for the loyal fanswho have been waiting all these years for this, to come to fruition.
