Eddie, July 19, 2006Eddie turned up Wednesday (7/19) at the House of Petals in West Hollywood, CA, for a private function, during which he jammed for the invitation-only crowd. Click HERE to see some pictures of the event.

(As you might recall, Eddie accompanied the owner of House of Petals, Joey House, to an Oscar party back in March, pictures of which also showed up on the Internet.)

According to Undercover:

Van Halen played Wednesday night (July 19th) jamming with Patrick Leonard (on keyboards). Leonard is best known for his songwriting and production work with Madonna.

Meanwhile, Undercover has learned that a Sammy Hagar/ David Lee Roth / Van Halen tour is once again being mooted as possible. No confirmed dates have been locked in but all parties are known to be considering the possibility of the arrangement.

What a great sight to see Eddie healthy and well out in the public having a good time, Remembering we almost lost the greatest rock and roll guitar player ever on this planet.

at the same time I feel sad because he isn’t half the musician he used to be if you have the ability to compare his current and old performance. In other words: If Ed would have played like this back in 1976 he would never have become King edward anyway!! this is the stuff he used to dislike himself some years ago. I silently hope he is just too drunk and just having fun and that he will sober up one day ( not too far away ) for at least his family. But also for his fans and all the people that love him with all their hearts.
