Michael Anthony was to the VH vocal sound as Sir Edward was to the melodic part. Thanks so much Ed for everything. Just when rock and roll was ready to rule the world again (read: VMA 1996) you did everything in your divine power to screw it up. And then, not being happy with that screw up, you proceeded to screw it more in 1998, 2000. 2004. You once said that if it didn’t work out with Cherone, you would write scores for movies. Nothing like writing scores for B (or even ‘C’ if it exists) rated porn. I can’t believe this is the same guy that wrote Fair Warning, 1984, 5150, and has slid into this. What a complete waste of God-given talent if there ever was!!!!! Congrats to Sam and Mike, and even Dave, for keeping it real all of these years and giving us true fans a small taste of what might have been.

Just out of curiosity i surfed the net For Van Halen info. in my opinion there only good album was there 1st one. and only 3 songs were any good 1. runnin with the devil 2.you really got me 3.aint talkin bout love The rest were a combination of teeny bopper,comercial suicide, David Lee Roth corny sound effects,and just trying to hard to fill up album space. What the hell is Hot for teacher? that tune gets the bubble gum rock award 1st place ribbon.and Jump?those corny lyrics and basic 4 cord intro.and Panama? GIVE ME A BREAK! Micheal Anthony is better off he’s an outstanding bass player as eddie ia a guitar player and alex a drummer and dave.s voice but they committed comercial suicide early on. its to bad.just like arrowsmith with there rap version of “walk this way”. well this is just one musicians outlook on the world of rock!

When eddie leaves multiple personality dave at the curbside where he belongs and brings sammy and michael back and most importantly figures out that it’s about the music, THE BAND, and the fans, and not just about eddie then the world of rock will be set right. we love ya ed but there is a bigger universe and picture out there, go grab it by the horns and bring alex,michael, and sammy along for the ride

Without Eddie there would have been no Van Halen. Because of what he could do the world also was introduced to 3 other great musicians and later a 5th who all rocked. There has never been anything close to Van Halen when they are playing music. It got us all thru diffrent times in our lives. So for that I thank you Ediie, Alex, Micael, David, and Sammy.

Even Mozart and Beethoven were a little whacked, and I believe maestro Edward Van Halen, pretty much falls into this category. Eddie doesn’t need a band, just him and a guitar will quiet the doubters. It’s tough being a bad ass guitarist, I guess. Do something Ed, a solo thing, or just you and Al. Even if it doesn’t sell, you’ve got to speak to your fans through your music. You’ve got a lot of folks rooting for you!!

Ed has single handedly tarnished a part of rock’n'roll history that would take a miracle to get back. I think too much meth has finally got the best of him. Or he is just that much of a quack. But I truelly feel sorry for Michael Anthony, for he is a class act that always remembers where he came from and never forgets about the fans! Ed and Al, you will never be thought of as a “Led Zeppelin,” “The Who” as long as you two think you are “Van Halen.” Yah, yah, it is your last name. But you guys don’t deserve calling your “reunion project” the name of a band that Van Halen fans knew as a rock band. Ed, you can’t fool the fans! You could give a rat’s ass about us and therefore we fans need to know your potential, and that’s porno. It has been fun and I am writing you off.
P.S.- If you love your son you won’t drag him through your psychosis.
